There is an unspoken way of living
It speaks of a natural ebb and flow of the way of the water
A time when leaves get stuck and requires momentum
And a point when things need to go in to depression
A time when you need to push yourself to provide and survive
Which may lead to a doorway that narrows down your capacity to testify
A time to be free and go wild and create
Throw some paint and ink down
Forget to concentrate
And when the concentration gets harder
You might want to bring it in a little further
To take a day off and get back in to nature
To sit down and finely measure out a plan with pencil and paper
Rake some sand and think a little more
Less action, more time to contemplate
Either way, it’s not having too much of one or the other
It is never black and white
You learn from each other
Give thanks for the food you have on your plate
Sit down and have a cup of tea
Understand what it really means to be “me”
